AB0942 ANTI-IL17 TREATMENT AND INCIDENCE OF INFLAMMATORY BOWEL DISEASE: SYSTEMATIC REVIEW AND META-ANALYSIS OF CLINICAL TRIALS

نویسندگان

چکیده

Background A warning about appearance or worsening of inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) during treatment with anti-IL17 agents has been launched by regulatory agencies in the last years. This caution is based on relationship between (IBD), joint (spondyloarthritis [SpA]) and skin (psoriasis [Ps]); regarding immune aspects. As well, drugs have proved ineffective IBD treatment. [1,2] Objectives To analyze incidence patients SpA Ps treated drugs. Methods systematic review clinical trials performed using 4 databases (Medline, Embase, Web Science, Cochrane Library). There were identified papers assessing trial’s participants, previously diagnosed SpA, global rate (IR), ratio (IRR) relative risks (RR) estimated this population, paralell crossover studies. Heterogeneity risk bias also evaluated. Results 53 finally selected for performing meta-analysis. IR diagnosis Ps/SpA under was 0.3/100 patients-year (95%CI 0.24-0.37). An IRR 0.56 0.34-0.9, p<0.01). RR 0.73 0.27-1.99, p=0.54) (Figure 1). Conclusion We cannot afirm that increase patients. Anti-IL17 may not be avoided practice concerning patients, due to prevention. A systematic review and meta-analysis of the relationship between advanced glycation end products ceceptor (RAGE) gene polymorphisms and the risk of inflammatory bowel disease

Background: In the pathogenesis of inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), the advanced glycation end product receptor (RAGE) has been involved. IBD is classified into Chron’s disease (CD) and ulcerative colitis (UC). The promoter gene of the RAGE gene was discovered to have had unique polymorphisms that increased its transcriptional activity. This study, therefore, used a systematic review and meta-...
